RYLA Vision

To challenge the ideals of young people from the age of 18 to 27 years. Selected by the local Rotary Club in their Districts to receive the award, young people are entitled to attend a week long seminar aimed at developing further their personal and leadership skills

 


RYLA aims to:

·         IDENTIFY: recognise the best young leaders and young people with the potential to become excellent leaders; and

·         EMPOWER: provide them with the opportunity to learn about the skills, responsibilities and challenges of leadership; and

·         CHANGE: encourage young people to improve their world through service

 


RYLA Program

These topics are covered in lectures, workshops, small and large group discussions as well as utilising many other learning aids. The program also includes plenty of time for reflection and socialising with your peers. 
The program is co-ordinated and delivered by a team comprising past RYLAians and a number of Rotarians.
